Screen tearing, blank screen are very common laptop problems. Many users tend to resort to the manufacturers, of course, if your laptop is still in the warranty period, that is a good idea. But if it has been out of warranty, I suggest you do it by yourself. In fact, screen tearing, blank screen can be handled easily. Here are some tips:

1.Driver problem
The device driver is not prepared by the graphics chip companies, and it is mostly programmed by the laptop manufacturers. Therefore, compatibility issue occurs. When screen tearing or blank screen appears in your laptop, we can try to run other 3D programs with the same driver, if screen tearing or blank screen also disappears, the problem can be considered to be compatibility issues. At the same time, the driver files damaged or missing may lead to screen tearing or blank screen. Just uninstall the old drivers, and reinstall the new driver procedures, the problem can be solved.

2.Third-Party Software
Opening the overclocking software, if the memory frequencies are too high, screen tearing or blank screen occures. Because when the memory works in the higher frequencies, it becomes unstable, so it leads to error, especially during data reading and writing. Just reduce or go back to the default frequencies, that is OK.

4.Oxidation Reaction
Using the laptop in a bad environment or long-term using the laptop may lead to screen tearing or blank screen. Unplug the LCD signal wire, wipe the metal in the joint with rubber, and clean the joint with a small amount of anhydrous alcohol cotton to remove oxidation or contamination. After that, re-plug the wire and test the laptop.

5.Memory Problem
Since some of the laptop adopt Dynamic Video Memory Technology, and using part of memory for graphics memory. If the internal structure of the chosen part is damaged, screen tearing or blank screen appears. In that case, replace it with the same size memory to be the graphics memory. Of course, if the memory is integrated on the motherboard, we have to send the laptop to the repair store.

6.Capacitor Problem
RAMDAC (Random Access Memory Digital-to-Analog Converter) and the filter capacitor are two elements that determine the image quality. And the work quality of filter circuit is related to the capacitor quality. When using low-grade capacitor or the characteristics of the capacitor reduced, screen tearing or blank screen appears. With a multimeter to check the old capacitor, and replace it with a same size one, problem may be handled.
