Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3T is the industry’s first convertible netbook tablet to feature a capacitive multitouch screen. At first glance, we will be surprised by Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3T’s outlook; it is not so common for a netbook coming with such unique coat. Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3T is also very different from Lenovo IdeaPad S10. There are many concentric square patterns on the lid of IdeaPad S10-3T, which is said the design is inspired by Van Gogh’s famous painting “Star”, which may be a symbol of development of technology and the internet. At same time, the edge of Lenovo  S10-3T has an arc design, so it looks like women bag.

Lenovo’s logo is located on the on the top of the lid, which is easy to catch your eyes though the lid of Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3T is fancy to some extent.

Because Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3T features a swivel touchscreen, so it can be rotated for use as a tablet. As it is a swivel touchscreen, so there is just a supporting point on the hinge, in order to enhance the hardness of the supporting point, it is wrapped by a thick piece of metal. The screen can be flipped 180 degrees to achieve the vertical, horizontal rotation.

It can be said one of the major advantages of the netbook is its light weight. There is no much difference for the weight of Lenovo IdeaPad S10 and Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3T, the Lenovo IdeaPad S10 is lighter 0.08kg than Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3T. S10-3t didn’t sacrifice its portability when its design and screen has been changed.

Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3T is just equipped with some basic interfaces, and there are just two USB ports. Generally the mouse should be connected by USB port, so there is just left one USB port.

On the left of Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3T, there is a security slot, power jack, Ethernet, heat vent, audio input/output.

On the right of IdeaPad S10-3T, there is wireless network switch, TV signal preserved port, two USB ports, VGA.

Lenovo S10-3T features a capacitive multitouch screen; it means you can use finger tip touch instead of pressure touch. And the screen is 10 inch with the resolution of 1024×600. The screen can be swiveled 180 degrees.

Lenovo S10-3T is not equipped with stylus, while there is a touch-operating built in the Win7 system. Users just do some simple operation by entering the Lenovo natural touch centers

We found that the screen is not large as the screen frame is a little wide. It has an advantage that the function keys can located on both side of the screen.

There are many function keys on both sides of Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3T screen, on the right side of screen, there is a power button and control key lock which is to protect the power button from being miss press.

There are three function keys on the left side of Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3T screen; the top function key is Lenovo natural touch shortcut key, the middle key is horizontal and vertical display mode switch which is used when you use the tablet as a book. The bottom key is mute key which is easy for you to adjust the volume.

There is a very thick rubber coat on all four corner of the screen to protect the screen. Well, there is a built-in 1.3 million pixel camera on the right side of the screen.

There are speakers on both sides of the bottom screen; and a row of system status indicator is located on the bottom of the speakers, which is easy for user to know the system status.

Although Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3T focuses on its touchscreen, it doesn’t ignore the keyboard. IdeaPad S10-3T comes with a full size keyboard; the keyboard is large while the keys are not well-spaced. And the keyboard layout is a slight changed, for example, Fn key is on the left of Ctrl key, and the Page button is placed in the top of the arrow keys.

The bottom side design of Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3T is not rigid. Plastic surface of the bottom is formed by a small drill, looking like rows of diamond-shaped box. Such careful design on the netbook is very rare.

The hollowed-out heat vent also increases the ornamentation of the laptop.

We can see the rotation axis of the IdeaPad S10-3T when we pull out the battery. Although the rotation axis is a little difficult to be rotated, it is in good quality.

Many people want to use their laptops anytime and anywhere. S10-3t is equipped with a SIM slot in the back of the battery storage, which will make it possible for you to web browse.

Center for Lenovo natural touch interface is very intuitive; several common functions emerged on the screen through the rolling arrangement. We just use our fingers sliding in the center of the screen to choose the functions you want: photographs, books, music, notes and video.
