Lenovo has launched Lenovo ThinkPad X201 in other day, Lenovo ThinkPad W701 /W701ds are launched too. Both Lenovo ThinkPad W701 and ThinkPad W701ds are equipped with an Intel Core i7 processor to 2.0GHz (with Intel Turbo Boost and Intel Hyperthreading) and an Nvidia Quadro FX 3800m and 3800m (for video editing or 3D CAD 3D), Windows 7 Professional 64bit operating system. Memory goes up to 16GB, and HDD is up to 500GB.
Both Lenovo ThinkPad W701 and ThinkPad W701ds feature a 17-inch 1920 × 1200 LCD Full HD with the resolution of 1920×1200 pixels. Moreover, the ThinkPad W701ds features another 10.6-inch screen with 768×1280 pixels resolution. And the two laptops both come with same specifications.
Both Lenovo ThinkPad W701 /W701ds laptops have a built-in color calibrator and have an optional support for the pointing device and digital pen technology to change even the smallest details. Lenovo ThinkPad W701 has four memory slots and it can support up to 16GB DDR3 RAM.
