When Lenovo ThinkPad T410 came out, many people will be curious about what the differences are between Lenovo ThinkPad T410 and Lenovo ThinkPad T400. Besides the performance of ThinkPad T410 is improved, how about the differences of their design and internal structure?
Last year, Lenovo launched the ThinkPad T400s which is thinner than the ThinkPad T series. Now some elements on the ThinkPad T400s have been applied to the ThinkPad T410 such as symmetrical frame, new keyboard layout and location of the keyboard indicator light.
Lenovo ThinkPad T410 looks more fashionable according to the material of its bottom side. Lenovo ThinkPad T410 features ABS plastic material and carbon fiber reinforced plastic chassis. The built-in anti-roll frame will prevent the laptop from damage.
Lenovo ThinkPad T410 is at the dimension of 33.27cm × 23.87cm × 3.17cm, and is equipped with a 6-cell battery. The weight of ThinkPad T410 is 1.36kg. The size and weight of T410 is almost as same as that of T400 and HP Elitebook 8440w.
ThinkPad T410 also features dual-microphone array design, with the top of the screen of the camera; it is useful for business meetings and video chat.

For Lenovo ThinkPad T400, the “Lenovo” logo is at the lower left corner, while the “ThinkPad” logo is at the lower right corner. The hinge on the left is a little bigger than that on the right. What’s more, the indicator light is at the right of centre.
For Lenovo ThinkPad T410, there is no “Lenovo” logo at the lower left corner, but there is a “ThinkPad” logo at the lower right corner. The hinges of both left and right side are same. And the indicator light is at the left of centre.
T410 is equipped with complete interfaces.
