Samsung P480 Advantages:
Strong discrete graphics
Metal drawing processing technology
Excellent cooling system
Samsung P480 Disadvantages:
Short battery life
People who have high requirements on the performance of multimedia and graphics function.
Metal wire drawing process let Samsung P480 more stylish, fashionable, and aesthetic. Samsung P480 is in black; the “SAMSUNG” LOGO with silver white reflected effect is compact and always reveals its restrained, elegant business atmosphere.
Samsung P480 features a plastic lid which is using spray coating technology, and strengthens its durability. On the one hand, it is to prevent the top cover be scratched, the other one is the effective protection of the screen.

Samsung P480 C surface is simple, restrained style; keyboard bracket is metal wire drawing process except for the speakers part.
Samsung P480 comes with a “spill-resistant keyboard.” The benefit of this keyboard is that it can effectively prevent liquid accidental access to the internal components of the notebook. This technology is created by ThinkPad. And through our trials, this Samsung P480 keyboard is also pretty good; percussion sense and resilience are very good.
Above the left palmrest label “Windows 7” Logo, there is microphone, such arrangements will undoubtedly provide users conveniences to internet chat.
Above the keyboard, it is the speakers’ hole; the panel is in three-dimensional grid texture design with metal drawing process technology, it improves the overall texture and taste. This panel is feeling quite good. Near the right side speaker, it is the white power button.
Samsung P480 is also equipped mainstream interfaces, P480 also follow the principle of simplicity, though not many. Most of the interfaces are located in the back side and left side, and there is only one DVD burner on the right side of Samsung P480.
Samsung P480 left side ports are the power port, Ethernet port, heat vents, HDMI, eSATA (compatible with USB port) and the headset microphone jack.
On the right of Samsung P480, there is only one DVD burner, it is extremely simple.
On the rear side of the P480 laptop, from left to right, there are two USB ports, VGA port, and security lock and lithium batteries. 2 USB ports are in up and down arrangement, not a good design.
Card reader was placed in the front position, it is easy to plug. There are 7 light indicator, namely: digital lock, capes lock, pages slide lock, hard drive indicator, the wireless network indicator, battery charging, power state indicators. They will be turning blue in the operation.

With just press the PUSH button, the indicator will light up and let you know the current battery life, so that users do not need to boot to know how much battery power is left.
Now we test Samsung P480’s battery life. It is in the Windows 7 Ultimate status, and tests it by BatteryMark.
2 hours battery life for business users is a bit short, but for a laptop adopted Core i5 processor and discrete graphics card, its performance of 2 hours is pretty good.
We use 3DMark 2006 software, check all the items, in this case to run for half an hour and then measuring the C side and bottom side temperature. Overall, Samsung P480 abstraction of heat performance is excellent. In such a high configuration, thanks to the metal drawing shell and good abstraction of heat design, the temperatures are relatively cool except that the main cooling region reached 48 ℃, especially the keyboard area, it is really cool.
